Misspellings In Google and Landing Pages

Ok - I have posted about misspellings before. When you buy AdWords and keywords in Google, you need to also buy the misspellings. Today for the first time, we had a misspelled word outpace a correctly spelled word. Now I can’t tell you what the word is because it is for a client. But think about this……

During last week we had 225 inbound lands from this word. 113 of them were from the misspelling that cost us .10 each. 112 were from the correct spelling that cost is .77 cents each. WOW.

WHEN YOU BUY MISSPELLINGS YOU ARE DRASTICALLY REDUCING YOUR COSTS FOR THAT KEYWORD.

Next week we will be building out at least 5 new landing pages for these misspellings to attract “organic” or free SERP (search engine results page) traffic. So people will search for the misspelling and either click our sponsored ad, OR hopefully see our link in the free listings.

Remember: Having a multi-method approach to buying Google Ads will reduce your cost, and increase your ROI. Never just buy keywords.
