If you know me - then you know I am a horrible mis-speller. I can’t spell to save my life. Changes schools 3 times between 1st and 3rd grades. But it finally has worked in my favor.

The other day we started working on adding TONS of content pages to one of our web sites. The site referenced a ton of other companies and their web sites. We figured we would cover the sites that had famous brand names but did not have really strong search engine placement. The effort would lead to people searching for other companies in our market (that we don’t complete with), and they would find our web site. It worked really well. We built 50 pages and hope for 2 sales from each. That is a extra 100 sales a month.

The funny part is, the ones that produce the most are the ones we mis-spelled. Many other people are like me - horrible spellers. So much so, that the mis-spelling has lead us $1,000.00 worth of sales. One of the single mis-spellings has passed the number 1 keyword we used for many many years in less then a week.

SO BE SURE TO GET INDEXED AND BUY MIS-SPELLINGS OF KEYWORDS. I can tell you it works and it works well and should be a part of your toolbox approach to online selling
